Among the plain shirts and tired faces, Radina's flower top reminded me of spring. After talking to her, I discovered that she truly was a nature lover.

Radina is from Stara Zagora, lives in Blagoevgrad and works in Sofia.

​

"I work in the marketing department of an IT company. I am glad that my job allows me to work from a distance - the chaos of the big city overwhelms me. I enjoy the peace and nature of Blagoevgrad. Everything is within walking distance, which is comfortable for me. I only go to Sofia once in a while for work or to visit family and friends, like today."

Radina spent nine years in Germany where she studied ecology. She studied in Stuttgart, a small university town.

​

"It actually reminds me of Blago. It's a small, quaint town. It's the young people who bring it to life. Berlin was so much different, with its anonymity and busy lifestyle."

​

However, she decided to come back as she missed her loved ones and her home country.

​

"I hope there will be more opportunities for young Bulgarians to stay here in the future."
